Staermose Industry A/S was founded by Jesper Stærmose in 1979. After having seen a covering for the insulation of valves, Jesper Stærmose contacted the people behind the concept and succeeded in obtaining the rights for sales and distribution of the insulation coverings in Jutland, and he subsequently sold and installed the coverings to the end users. Later on he also undertook the production of the insulation coverings.
Working with the insulation of valves, typically in large hospitals and housing associations, our employees were frequently asked about the possibility of insulating heat exchangers. Consequently, Jesper Stærmose made contact with one of the major manufacturers, who were attracted by the idea of producing insulation coverings for heat exchangers. From then on the development accelerated, and today the company has gained an established position as a recognised supplier to many of world’s heat exchanger manufacturers.
In addition to producing insulation coverings, we have specialised in the cutting and finishing of steel plates, steel constructions, cassettes, cabinets etc.
An ambitious and focused growth strategy has been put in place, which includes the setting up of a state-of-the-art laser cutting centre. The idea is to supply Danish customers with cut metal parts or to provide all-inclusive processes from laser cutting to the processing of metal sheets, including bending, threading, welding and subsequent processing.
