Staermose Industry A/S has previously cut stainless steel plates, rosettes and trim rings for Vola, who produces high-quality bathroom equipment. With the laser cutter we can now cut their products in brass, enabling them to offer new types of products in a quality that meets the expectations of their customers. Our laser cutter produces a unique quality cut, which means less supplementary work for Vola and, thus, reduced operational costs. ‘The high quality cutting means that we now have to do 75 per cent less supplementary work. This frees time and machine capacity for other projects’, says Allan Voldby Høgfeldt at Vola in an article published in Ingeniøren on 9 November 2012.
We are leading in the market of laser-cutting alternative materials – and at competitive prices. ‘There is no doubt that the unrivalled quality cut of our new laser cutter has played a large part in doubling our revenue over the past five years and places us a considerable step ahead of our competitors’, says John Stærmose in an article published in Ingeniøren.
The low energy consumption, fast production time and reduced maintenance costs of the fiber laser cutter leads to savings and makes it competitive in the market.
‘If we add all our savings we end up with a total saving of approx. five per cent, and that is a quantum leap in the field. The prices are very, very low, and those few per cents are therefore vital’, concludes John Stærmose in the article in Ingeniøren.
